I believe that good representation starts with being present. Across Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion I regularly meet residents, visit local organisations, and take time to listen to the issues that matter most to people in their daily lives.

Whether it is walking the wards at Withybush Hospital, meeting staff and volunteers at Citizens Advice, talking to families about rural school closures, visiting care providers, or attending community events and local businesses, I ensure to make a point of getting out of Cardiff Bay and into the communities I was elected to represent.

These conversations shape my work in the Senedd. Many of the questions I raise to ministers, the campaigns I prioritise, and the issues I press the Welsh Government on begin with what I am hearing face-to-face such as delayed care packages, pressure on unpaid carers, concerns about hospital services, transport difficulties, and the quiet determination of people simply trying to get on with life in rural West Wales.

My approach is straightforward: listen carefully, take concerns seriously, and follow through. While I do not have the answer to everything, it is my key mission to be approachable and persistent on behalf of the people of Ceredigion Penfro.
